Nick Sarnicola grew up in Michigan, where the auto and heavy industry ruled as king, and watched as the business would soar and fail. Without much economic growth, Sarnicola knew he had to go elsewhere to find a job.

Ryan Blair grew up in a destructive environment, with a father who abused drugs and his family and a mother who became an alcoholic as a means of escape. At the brink of completely giving up on life, Blair made a conscious choice to change. Dr. Michael Seidman, MD, FACS — Director of Product Research and Development, ViSalus Sciences

When ViSalus Sciences launched, Dr. Michael Seidman, MD, was named the Director of Product Research and Development, sharing the goal of the ViSalus team in offering better overall health to everyone by facilitating proper nutritional supplementation. Working actively with the ViSalus team of marketing strategists as well as medical researchers, Dr. Seidman enables ViSalus Sciences to remain on the cutting edge of nutriceutical sciences, and well ahead of the curve in the health and wellness industry.

Dr. Michael Seidman, MD, FACS — Education and Medical Background

Performing his undergraduate and medical studies at the University of Michigan, Dr. Michael Seidman focused his studies on human nutrition before graduating and working toward his M.D. After becoming an expert on health, wellness and the human body, Dr. Seidman would spend the next five years of his life specializing in the field of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Having enjoyed an incredibly successful career as a practicing physician, Dr. Seidman never lost interest in the importance of nutrition in relation to optimal body performance.

An active scientist, Dr. Seidman has spent time in the laboratory with studies focused on a vast array of health related issues.
